Mindfulness at work

My role is of design... technical in nature (TCAD simulations for semiconductors). One day the meeting was focusing more on Project Management topics. I had prepared my slides (about 7 slides) pretty diligently. When I was asked to share, I was given just 1-2 minutes. It was a magical moment of mindfulness, where instead of feeling bad about it, I realized the need of the meeting/ discussion, and presented mainly the summary of my work, and exactly answered the question that my manager had. Finished my presentation in 2 minutes. My work behind diligent preparation of those slides didn’t go waste. It enabled me to distill the essence of the work i had done - and share the key message in a way that was well received.
